Together we will explore the unspoken power dynamics present in behavioral health, addiction and peer support roles within these helping relationships.
This training examines how authority, influence, lived experience, boundaries, bias and professional roles can impact vulnerable populations, both positively and harmfully. Participants will explore ethical decision-making, relational accountability, dual relationships, communication, and the responsibility that comes with being trusted by others. Through discussion and real examples, attendees will strengthen their ability to recognize various power imbalances, reduce harm and practice ethical person centered care with greater awareness and integrity. |
