Diversity, equity, and inclusion work comes with many challenges, not the least of which includes strong resistance to new ideas or new ways of working together.  Diversity programs usually strive to help organizations achieve higher levels of understanding and engagement among teams with the goal of bringing people closer together.  Arguably just as critical, HR is tasked with deciphering conversations and complaints to determine root cause issues and to then identify workable and meaningful solutions to address them.  Solutions, however, depend on whether the issue is an HR concern or a culture concern.  How do we tell the difference?  And once deciphered, what are the next steps in each instance, and how do we provide appropriate closure to those employees who complained or insist on knowing where things stand?  Join us for this highly interactive round table discussion as we go behind the scenes and tackle the challenges of deciphering a concern presents an HR issue or culture issue, and what to do about it.
